Maori Healing Techniques with Angela Gaare
Maori are the people indigenous to New Zealand. As with every indigenous culture they have their own way of looking at the world which includes wellness and healing. They were also nearly destroyed by European colonization. Luckily the tides have turned; over the last decades they have been able to take back their spiritual practices, their language and their many customs while there were still some elders left to teach the younger generations.
In this session you will learn about a particularly talented group known simply as the Maori Healers who were called to study under one exceptionally gifted elder and to continue his work after his passing. Their healings range from the mundane and gentle to the truly intense, physical and spectacular. They are world famous for their work in the area of fertility.
You will experience some simple Maori healing techniques in the style that they are most often delivered and also learn the basic practices or customs considered essential to the Maori healing culture and the philosophy behind their inclusion. You are free to incorporate these into your current practice.
About Angela:
Angela is a native Minnesotan. However it wasn’t until she moved to Australia in 2001 that her interest in energy work and native healing arts bubbled to the surface. While her work now focuses mainly on relationship analysis, pranic healing and mediumship, she continues to hold a special place in her heart for the Maori culture, spirituality, wellness and healing practices and she integrates these learnings and experiences into every aspect of her life. The relationships she built with this community are truly a treasure.
Location: Private home in St Paul…please note that we have a very friendly dog who may be around. The address will be sent to registered participants a couple of days before the event.
Fee: $20 EARLY BIRD ($25 for registrations after Nov 11)
Advance registration is required. Registration closes the day prior to the event.
Refund/Cancellation policy: Due to the low pricing and small group size, no refunds will be given for the Energy Medicine Salons. Those who cancel more than 48 hours prior to the event can receive a credit for a future Energy Medicine Salon.
