Bring images that you’ve been wanting to make into cards or dig through my ever growing stash of images.
Theme:
We’ll take some time at first to explore a grouping of cards that have ‘watching’ in common: Critic, Judge, Monitor, Observer, and Witness. While the originator of SoulCollage®, Seena Frost, never says what cards people should make, she finds that most people have some of these energies (especially the Critic and Judge!). Engaging these energies through SoulCollage® allows them to come out into the light and be used in a balanced way in your life. We’ll also explore what makes the transpersonal Witness card different from the other ‘watching’ cards.
Feel free to bring your deck of cards so that you can engage any of these that you have already made.
During the Open Studio you will be free to make whatever cards you are drawn to make, regardless of whether they relate to today’s theme.
Prerequisite: Prior experiences with SoulCollage® (at least having made one card). I’ll be available for questions but this does not include a formal introduction to SoulCollage®.
If you are new to SoulCollage®, please get in touch. I would be happy to explore arranging a separate introduction for you.
Location: Private home in St Paul (near Grand Ave); the address will be sent to registered participants. Please note that we have a dog who may be around. Also, this event will be held in our basement. If the dog or accessibility is an issue, please get in touch and we’ll accommodate as best we can.
Price: $25 Early Bird ($35 after Sunday, March 26)
The fee includes 3 blank cards; additional cards available to purchase for $1 each. Magazines/images, glue, scissors, etc, are provided.
