The other night, in the middle of the night, I couldn’t sleep. My mind was racing about all the things I hadn’t gotten done.
Eventually, finally, I had the thought:
“I can’t do anything about any of this. Let it go.”
In that moment that I surrendered, it felt like a presence encircled me. The next morning this is what I wrote.
The Great Mother came to me last night
She wrapped her arms around me
She reminded me that everything would be alright.
And she said:
You can’t give to others what you don’t give to yourself.
